The final electoral list has been released on Tuesday (30 September 2025) under the special intensive revision program in Bihar. All the eligible voters of the state can now see their name information through the online portal.

The Election Commission has shared a link, on which voters can confirm their name, address and other details. The publication of the electoral list is being considered an important step in the preparations for the assembly elections.

Earlier on August 1, the Election Commission released the first revised voter list draft after the special intensive revision process. The format of the voter list prepared for 90,817 polling stations of 243 assembly constituencies of Bihar was also shared with political parties.

Explain that the names of a total of 65,64,075 voters were removed in the first phase of SIR. These included fake voters and deceased voters. Also, the names of those people were removed, whose voter ID card is made in another state. However, many leaders had also lodged an objection on this, which was fiercely debated.

Especially the leaders of opposition parties, Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, Mallikarjun Kharge, Manoj Jha and other leaders had targeted the Election Commission and fiercely made a lot of uproar when the names of fake illegal voters were removed.

Amidst all this, this issue was also taken to the Supreme Court, where interim instructions were issued to include the Aadhaar card as a document in the SIR process.
