Sonia Gandhi Condemns The Misbehavior With The CJI

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has condemned the misconduct case against Supreme Court Chief Justice BR Gawai. He said that this is also an attack on the Constitution. The Congress posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and said that the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) president Sonia Gandhi issued a statement saying that the words are not sufficient to condemn the attack on the Chief Justice of India in the Supreme Court. This is an attack not only on them, but also on our Constitution.

He said that Chief Justice Gawai has been very kind, but the whole country should stand with him with deep pain and resentment.

At the same time, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin posted on ‘X’ and said that Chief Justice Thiru inside the Supreme Court. The embarrassing act against BR Gawai is an attack on the highest judicial post of our democracy and should be strongly condemned.

He said that the way the Chief Justice reacted with decency, peace and generous, it reflects the strength of the institution, but we should not take this incident lightly.

The reason for his act by the attacker, shows how deep the oppressive and hierarchical mindset is still in our society. We should nurture a culture that respects and protects our institutions and display maturity in our conduct.

Supreme Court lawyer Rakesh Kishore created a ruckus in the court of CJI BR Gawai during the hearing of a case. It is alleged that the lawyer abused the CJI. He also raised slogans in the court, after which he was taken into custody.

In fact, when the bench headed by CJI was listening to the mention for hearing a case of lawyers, the lawyer erupted. It is being told that the lawyer also raised the slogan of ‘Sanatan’s insult to Sanatan’. However, during this time the CJI Gavai remained calm and the hearing continued.

After the uproar, the CJI told the lawyers present in the court, “We are not affected by such activities and the hearing will continue. There should be no obstruction in the work of the court.”
