Patna: With the announcement of Bihar assembly elections, ticket contenders have intensified their preparations in their same way. The speculation of Bihar’s eminent singer Maithili Thakur to step into politics and contest the assembly elections was further intensified when he met BJP’s election in -charge Dhamendra Pradhan and Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai on Sunday. There was speculation in the media that Maithili Thakur can contest the Bihar assembly election from any seat in Mithilanchal.

Mishri Lal Yadav contested the 2020 election on Mukesh Sahni’s party VIP ticket but after winning the election he joined the BJP when the VIP was broken in the party.

Maithili Thakur’s father told his wish to contest from Benipatti assembly seat in Madhubani. She said that she is a resident of that area, if BJP gives tickets to Maithili Thakur, she will contest from Benipatti. Currently, Vinodanand Jha is an MLA from BJP from Benipatti who defeated Bhavna Jha of Congress in the 2020 election. The BJP is preparing to cut the ticket of some seating MLAs, whose performance has not been good. If the BJP fields Maithili Thakur, then Vinodanand Jha’s ticket will definitely be cut.

On the other hand, who also makes the BJP candidate on Alinagar seat, everyone is watching it. Because currently BJP MLA Mishrilal Yadav is stranded in the case of horse trading. When Nitish Kumar changed his RJD and going with the BJP, many questions were raised about the role of Mishrilal Yadav, in this case he was also called by the EOU team of Bihar for questioning. The BJP is also looking at other options instead of Mishri Lal Yadav on the seat of Alinagar. Pappu Singh, a strong contender for a BJP ticket, is being told in Alinagar seat who was once close to former minister and RJD general secretary Abdul Bari Siddiqui. Pappu Singh has currently taken membership of BJP and has made a lot of preparation at his level to contest the Alinagar seat and he has been very active as BJP leader-activists, so it is believed that BJP can make him its candidate in Alinagar instead of Mishralal Yadav. Now in the coming time, everyone will be monitored by whom the BJP gives tickets on Benipatti and Alinagar seats.
