Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry has said that they will look to bat positively on the slow surface of Colombo against Pakistan. Australia are set to take on Pakistan in their third fixture of the Women's World Cup 2025 on Wednesday, October 8 at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
The defending champions were seen struggling with the bat in their opening game against New Zealand before Before Gardner's hundred, Australia were seen going hard at the top as Phoebe Litchfield scored a quick-fire 45 (31).

"I don't think we have a conversation with the top three. I think we have a conversation with our batting group, which we're quite fortunate to have some depth in. Furthermore, Perry stressed on batting positively but also mentioned that they will adapt to the conditions on offer.
"But I think we all go out with the same approach, and that's to be really positive, but also really adaptable and smart to whatever the game is presenting, whether that's conditions or the opposition. I think there's a blueprint there that applies to anywhere that you play, and then you've just got to be adaptable on the day," she added.
Perry made a decent contribution with the bat in the opening fixture, scoring 33 (41). The veteran all-rounder will be eager to notch up a big score against Pakistan as Australia will aim to secure two points after
