Along with this, India’s leading AI-operated travel platform Ixigo has integrated PhonePe PG in its apps. With this, users will be able to save their card on the PhonePe app once and safely pay on all participating merchants.
This feature provides ‘Save Once usage everyware’ experience, which eliminates the need to record card details repeatedly and gives the user interconnected commerce experience.
PhonePe’s payment gateway and online merchant head Ankit Gaur said, “We are constantly innovating to make digital payment simple, fast and safe. Our cooperation with MasterCard will promote payment innovation in India’s digital economy and empower merchants.”
Under the new RBI rules, alternative authentication is now allowed for online transactions. Under this, users can pay from their fingerprint or face scan using PhonePe device tokens.

With this partnership, PhonePe PG will have further strengthening capacity and businesses will be available safe payment options across India.
