Blood Donation — The Supreme Yajna of Life
Recently, the blood donation drives organized in Mumbai, Nashik, and Pune further brightened this flame of service and humanity.

Through these campaigns, a total of 1,147,600 cc of blood was collected — not only a record-breaking achievement but also a symbol of the determination to save lives.
Inspired by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, thousands of volunteers and devotees participated in this noble cause.

For BAPS, blood donation is not merely medical assistance — it is the supreme service of the soul, for blood is that invaluable element which neither any laboratory nor any technology can create.

Under the guidance of Dr Shri Puri (Director, SBTC) and Dr Kishor Kumar Jha (Director, Mahatma Gandhi Blood Bank), the camp demonstrated that when organisation, harmony, and devotion unite, the movement of service can rebuild society itself.

Two years ago, during the centenary celebration of Pramukh Swami Maharaj in Ahmedabad, 5.9 million cc of blood was collected within just 30 days — a glorious example of a world-class service commitment.
Every year, over 55,000 BAPS volunteers dedicate more than 15 million service hours, with particularly inspiring participation from women volunteers.

The continued humanitarian work of BAPS has become a living inspiration not only for the Hindu community but for the entire human race.

Medical Service — A Harmony of Modernity and Compassion
Alongside its social initiatives, BAPS also excels in the field of medical service.

Through BAPS Charities, millions of people receive free healthcare every year. Mobile clinics and diagnostic camps bring medical care to rural, tribal, and urban regions alike.

Recently, two new medical vans were inaugurated from the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in Gujarat, increasing the total number of active mobile medical clinics to 14.

These vans serve as vital links in delivering primary treatment, specialist consultations, and emergency care to remote areas.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, BAPS provided oxygen concentrators, masks, and rapid medical assistance to safeguard humanity. Volunteer doctors also offered free consultations and mental health support, providing relief to thousands of families.

Six major BAPS hospitals in India continue to play a leading role in public healthcare:

4. Pramukh Swami Health Centre — Botad

Additionally, a primary health centre in Chansad and 14 mobile clinics serve tribal regions.
