Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition in India with new cosmetic and feature upgrades. The new edition aims to attract customers during the festive season and follows the success of last year’s version. Bookings for the Fortuner Leader Edition will open in the second week of October 2025. Prices for the new edition have not yet been announced.
For the AT (automatic) variant, it could go up to Rs 39.16 lakh
Customers can choose from four exterior paint options – Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White, and Silver – each available in both manual and automatic variants of the 4×2 configuration.
Toyota has also added a new grille with latticed slats and ‘FORTUNER’ lettering above, blacked-out chrome trim, and a revised bumper design. The SUV now rides on 18-inch black alloy wheels, and the rear bumper has been slightly redesigned.
The 2025 model now includes auto-folding outside mirrors, illuminated scuff plates, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). These additions build on the SUV’s existing reputation for reliability and comfort.
Buyers can select between a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox. The Leader Edition is available only in the rear-wheel-drive (4×2) setup.
The SUV comes with a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty, which can be extended up to 5 years/220,000 km. Additionally, Toyota is offering five years of complimentary roadside assistance and customizable service packages.
