The Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana has become one of Haryana’s most talked-about welfare programs, promising ₹2,100 per month to women across the state. While registration for the scheme has already begun, not everyone is eligible to receive the benefit. The Haryana government has made it clear that women who are already receiving money under certain existing government pension or welfare schemes will not be able to apply for this one.

Scheme Overview

The Lado Lakshmi Yojana aims to provide financial assistance to economically weaker women in Haryana. Applications opened recently, and the government plans to start direct transfers of ₹2,100 per month from November 1, 2025.

Under the first phase, only women belonging to families with an annual income of less than ₹1 lakh are eligible to apply. The scheme is expected to benefit nearly 20 lakh women across the state.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini launched a dedicated mobile app on September 25, 2025, allowing women to check their eligibility, register online, track application status, and even file complaints related to the scheme.

Who Will Not Get ₹2,100 Under Lado Lakshmi Yojana

If you or your family members are already benefiting from the following nine welfare schemes, you will not be eligible for the ₹2,100 monthly assistance under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana:

Women receiving benefits under any of the above schemes cannot claim the ₹2,100 monthly allowance under Lado Lakshmi Yojana.

Additional Disqualification Conditions

Apart from the above list, certain other criteria can also make a woman ineligible:

If the woman or any family member pays income tax
If the woman or a family member holds a government job
If anyone in the family receives a government pension
If the annual family income exceeds ₹1 lakh

These conditions ensure that the scheme reaches those who truly need financial support — primarily low-income and non-salaried households.

Who Can Still Apply — Exceptions

The government has, however, made some special exemptions for women facing critical health issues. Women suffering from the following diseases or conditions are still eligible to apply even if they fall under the above categories:

Stage 3 or Stage 4 cancer patients
Women with rare diseases
Patients suffering from Hemophilia, Thalassemia, or Sickle Cell Anemia
