
Bus Accident: A horrific bus accident occurred in Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, when rocks fell directly on a passenger bus. In the accident, 18 people died on the spot, while many passengers are still buried in the debris. According to preliminary information, there were about 30 passengers in the bus. As soon as the accident was reported, the administration and rescue teams reached the spot and the rescue operation was started. A child and three people trapped under the rubble were taken out and sent to the hospital immediately.
Mountain fell on bus in Bilaspur, 15 killed (Bus Accident)
According to the information, this horrific accident occurred at 6:25 pm near Barathi in Bilaspur, when the bus was going from Marotan towards Ghumarwin. Then suddenly a large part of the mountain broke near Bhalu and fell on the bus. The bus was completely buried in rocks and soil debris and only a part of the roof was visible. Eyewitnesses said that the rocks fell so fast that the driver did not even get a chance to stop the bus. As soon as the information was received, the local people started relief work and the administration immediately sent NDRF and police teams to the spot.
Chief Minister Sukhu expressed mourning
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu expressed deep condolences as soon as the information of the accident was received. He has instructed the officials to complete relief and rescue operations fast. The Chief Minister expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and said that the government is standing with every victim’s family in this hour of grief. He wished God for peace of departed souls and early health benefits of the injured.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has also expressed deep condolences on this incident. He said that it is very painful to leave many innocent lives in this bus accident due to landslides in Jhanduta area of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. The Chief Minister said that my deep condolences are with heartbroken family members. Pray to God to provide peace to the departed souls and support the family in this difficult time.

Till final information, relief teams are continuously working to remove debris. It is being told that about 100 meters of the road has also been damaged due to the breakdown of the mountain. At present, the administration has stopped the surrounding traffic and vehicles have been diverted by alternative routes. The district administration has announced immediate financial assistance to the families of the deceased.
