Strictly Come Dancing star Claudia Winkleman is back on screens for brand new series Celebrity Traitors, which will see a number of huge names take each other on a tense game of deceit and cunning.

The celebrities, including Kate Garraway, Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Clare Balding, are all fighting to win the big prize of £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

But while fans are sure to be excited to see which star will be made a Traitor and make it to the end, others are equally as excited to not only see what Claudia will be wearing but also what she will be saying to the stars in the castle.

People who have watched her on Strictly know Claudia for her quirky sense of humour, and when I got invited to the Traitors launch event for the third season, which came out earlier this year, I was intrigued to see what she is really like when the cameras aren't rolling.

It won't come as much of a surprise that Claudia is exactly the same in real life as she is on screen, leaving the audience giggling with self-deprecating jokes and awkward humour as she spoke about the show on stage.

She revealed that her black gloves from the show cost only a few pounds from Amazon, and admitted that she cried when one of the contestants was banished by the rest of the group, after growing attached to her.

Whilst watching her from the audience, I wondered if Claudia was just putting it on for the crowd, and she had a separate TV persona to her real personality, aka doing a Lorraine Kelly.

But as I approached her at the end of the event, she couldn't have been nicer. Despite being deep in conversation as she made her rounds through the room, she made sure to speak to me, as we chatted about Strictly Come Dancing and how nervous she was about a new season of The Traitors airing following the success of the previous series.

After working in showbiz journalism, I have grown used to certain celebrities being nice as pie on TV screens, then being total divas or disinterested in mingling with the public when you meet them in real life. But Claudia was the complete opposite of that, fans will be happy to know, and like many others, I will be looking forward to tuning in to watch Celebrity Traitors tonight.
