What are the eligibility criteria?
For this scheme, final-year undergraduate/dual degree students must complete at least three AI-related courses and obtain 80% marks or equivalent. Postgraduate students need 80% marks in their undergraduate degree and 75% marks in their current course. PhD candidates must meet the prescribed CGPA criteria and must not be eligible for any other fellowship.
How do UG/PG/Dual Degree students apply?
Students should log in to the fellowship portal.
Fill out the application with the required documents.
The project guide will then verify the details and send the application to IndiaAI.
Applications will be evaluated based on eligibility and seat availability.
Finally, India AI approves or rejects the application.
Process for PhD Candidates
The institution will send the details of the nodal officer to India AI.
Upon approval, the officer will be added to the portal.
The institution will identify eligible scholars.
Scholars will fill out the application and upload documents.
India AI can approve or reject the application after verification.
Financial Aid Information
How much will the fellowship receive?
Under the financial assistance, undergraduate students can receive up to ₹100,000, which will be disbursed in two installments. Postgraduate students can receive an amount ranging from ₹100,000 to ₹200,000, depending on the semester. Each installment will be released based on grade sheets and project progress reports.
Application Process
Nominations for this scheme can be made throughout the year, but only the top 10 nominations from each institution will be considered. Along with the application, students must submit updated marksheets, letters of support from the project guide and institution head, a passport-size photograph, and optional additional documents.
