What will be the last date of retention?

Before every auction, all the teams have to release the retention list of their players. Which contains the names of all the retained players. According to preliminary information this year, all the teams will have to release their retention list by 15th November. There will be a mini auction after a month. At the same time, there is no information about the place of auction till now. The IPL 2023 auction was held in Dubai and 2024 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). Therefore, it is believed that this time also it may happen outside the country.

Many big names can come in the auction

Many big names can be included in the IPL mini auction. The most special among them is Australia’s powerful all-rounder Cameron Green. He was out of this year’s IPL due to injury. Many big teams can go after him for 2026 IPL. Along with this, Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar, Rahul Tripathi, Sam Curran and even Devon Conway of Chennai Super Kings can also come in the auction. Apart from this, T Natarajan, Mitchell Starc, Akashdeep, Mayank Yadav and David Miller can also enter the auction.
