FD Rates: Suryoday Small Finance Bank has increased fixed deposit (FD) and savings account interest rates, offering a welcome boost to its customers. The new FD rates are effective from October 8, 2025. The new savings account interest rates are effective from October 1, 2025. With this change, bank customers will now be able to earn higher returns on medium- and long-term deposits.

New FD Rates (Applicable to deposits less than ₹3 crore)

The bank’s fixed deposit interest rates will now range from 4% to 8.05%. The highest interest rate of 8.05% will be available on FDs with a 5-year term. This rate is considered very attractive for long-term investors. Interest rates on short-term FDs, i.e., less than one year, start at 4%.

Interest rates by term

7 to 14 days: 4%

15 to 45 days: 4.25%

46 to 90 days: 4.50%

91 days to 6 months: 5%

6 months to 1 day: 6.75%

9 months to less than 1 year: 6%

1 year: 7.40%

1 to 3 years: 7.25%

5 years: 8.05% (highest)

5 years to 10 years: 7.25%

Interest Rates for Senior Citizens

The bank has provided additional benefits to senior citizens. They will receive 0.15% to 0.20% higher interest rates than regular customers. This means they will now receive interest rates ranging from 4.20% to 8.10%.

7 to 14 days: 4.20%

91 days to 6 months: 5.20%

1 year: 7.60%

5 years: 8.10% (highest)

5 to 10 years: 7.45%

This plan is a great option for senior citizens to earn a safe and stable income.

New Interest Rates on Savings Accounts

Up to ₹1 lakh: 2.50%

From ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh: 3%

From ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh: 6.25%

From ₹10 lakh to ₹5 crore: 7.50%

From ₹5 crore to ₹25 crore: 7.75% (highest)

Customers with balances above ₹25 crore will have customised interest rates, which can be inquired about by contacting the bank.
