PM WANI Scheme: In today's times, no one can survive without the internet. The Internet has become a necessity in everyone's life. Most people install Wi-Fi for their home internet use. But did you know that now you can also earn money from your home Wi-Fi connection?
Yes, under the government's PM Wi-Fi scheme, PM-WANI (Public Wi-Fi Network Interface), ordinary people can earn income by sharing their Wi-Fi network for public use. If you have a Wi-Fi internet connection in your home or shop, you can sell data by connecting it to the government's registered system. Learn how to benefit from this scheme.
What is the PM WANI scheme?
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has launched the PM Wi-Fi scheme, also known as the PM-WANI scheme. The Department of Telecommunications launched this scheme nationwide as part of the Digital India Mission. Under this scheme, any individual or organization can become a Public Data Office (PDO) and share their Wi-Fi.
All you need is a router and an internet connection. Then, register on the government portal. Your network becomes active as a public Wi-Fi network. Users can then connect to your network and purchase data. You'll receive a fixed commission for each data usage, providing you with a source of income.
How to benefit from this scheme?
If you have a Wi-Fi connection at home, the process to join this scheme is very simple. First, you need to apply as a Public Data Office by visiting telecom.gov.in or the PM-WANI app. You will then receive a PDO ID. Then, register your Wi-Fi router and make your network live. As soon as a user uses your network, the system will automatically add the payment. This can earn you up to a few thousand rupees per month. The special thing is that it doesn't require any license or separate investment. You can use your own Wi-Fi and earn money by selling mobile data from it.
