Ranchi, October 11 (Read News). Ranchi’s Chanho police station has arrested four accused including his wife while revealing the Rambali Yadav murder case that took place seven months ago. The arrested accused include wife Champa Devi alias Champa Oraon, Vishnu Oraon, Vikas Oraon and Ashish Kumar. Also, the police have detained two minors in the case. A country-made pistol, three bullets and two bikes have been recovered from them.

Ranchi Rural SP Praveen Pushkar told on Saturday that Rambali Yadav, a resident of Badaiya village of Chanho police station area, was shot dead seven months ago. The person who killed Rambali Yadav was none other than his second wife Champa. Champa, along with his three associates, first shot and killed Rambali Yadav and then threw the body in the well and got the well filled with the help of a JCB.

Despite killing her husband, Champa remained hidden from the eyes of the law for the last seven months. Ultimately Ranchi Police exposed this murder while searching for missing Rambali Yadav.

Rambali Yadav was originally a resident of Banaras, Uttar Pradesh. Rambali Yadav was already married but after coming to Ranchi, he married Champa Oraon for the second time and then started living with Champa in Chanho. Rambali Yadav always remained in touch with his family members based in Banaras. Meanwhile, for the last few months, Rambali Yadav’s phone started getting switched off and he was not able to have any contact with his family members. After this, Rahul Yadav, son of Rambali Yadav’s first wife, started searching for his father. Even after reaching Chanho, Rahul could not find any trace of his father. After this he lodged an FIR in Chanho police station. Rahul had expressed doubt on Champa regarding his father’s disappearance.

Rural SP Praveen Pushkar said that when the police started investigating the case of Rambali Yadav’s disappearance, they became suspicious of his second wife Champa Oraon. After this the police started secretly keeping an eye on Champa. After the suspicion was confirmed, the police team detained Champa and one of his relatives Vishnu Oraon and started questioning them. Both of them broke down in front of the police and openly revealed the entire story of the murder to the police.

SP said that Champa told that a land was sold on behalf of Rambali Yadav, but he sent the money received from it to his first wife in Banaras. A dispute started between Champa and Rambali Yadav regarding this money.

After this dispute, Champa along with some of his acquaintances planned the murder of Rambali Yadav. Under the plan, first Rambali Yadav was shot dead by Champa Devi, Vishnu Oraon, Vikas Oraon, Ashish Kumar and two minors and then his body was thrown in the well. After the murder, the body was thrown into the well and then the well was completely filled with soil from JCB so that no one could get any evidence.

After receiving the information about the dead body being buried in the well, the police immediately deployed a magistrate and removed the soil filled in the well and took out the body of Rambali Yadav. In this case, the police have arrested Champa Devi and four other accused. Also two minors have been detained.
