  • 2 cups milk powder
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Saffron
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Know the easy recipe to make

  1. First of all, in a large bowl, take 2 cups milk powder, ¼ cup all-purpose flour, ½ tsp baking powder and 1 tsp ghee.
  2. Now mix all these things well.
  3. Now add half cup milk in it and mix with the help of a spoon.
  4. After this, cover it and keep it for 10 minutes.
  5. To prepare sugar syrup, on the other hand, take 2½ cups of sugar and 1 cup of water.
  6. Now add some saffron in it and boil for 5 minutes.
  7. Cook until it becomes string-like consistency.
  8. After this add half teaspoon cardamom powder and 2 teaspoons lemon juice.
  9. After this, mix it well and keep it aside.
  10. The lemon juice will help prevent the syrup from curdling.
  11. Now make gulab jamuns from the dough by giving them small ball shapes.
  12. Take care that there are no cracks in the berries. If there are cracks, the berries may break while frying.
  13. Put the balls on medium flame and fry them with gentle stirring continuously until the berries turn black.
  14. After turning golden brown, put the berries in hot sugar syrup.
