Incorporating fish into your weekly menu is a brilliant idea, with salmon emerging as one of the most nutritious choices thanks to its wealth of heart-boosting omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, reports the Express.

That being said, simply savouring a basic piece of seared, baked, or grilled salmon can grow tedious with time. Nevertheless, the key to creating that scrumptious salmon you're yearning for lies in the seasonings.

Writing for Simply Recipes, one culinary expert has revealed her favourite recipe for "juicy" salmon that requires less than 20 minutes. What's more, you only need one main ingredient to add heaps of flavour to the fish.

  • I ate at Jeremy Clarkson's and James May's pubs in the same day - one is clearly better
  • 'I worked in fish and chip shops for five years - there's one menu item I'd never order'

Having experimented with "so many recipes" throughout the years, culinary expert Jessica Furniss has discovered her "all-time favourite way to make salmon" and it's a "simple" Mediterranean-inspired recipe.

All you require are salmon fillets and shop-bought Greek dressing for the "juiciest, most flavour-packed" salmon. One of the best elements of this recipe is that it can be completed in less than 20 minutes.

Following the application of Greek dressing to the salmon fillets, allow them to marinate in the fridge for five minutes.

Fish is more delicate when compared to other varieties of meat, and it can become soggy if marinated for excessive periods. Jessica opts to use a five-minute marinade to guarantee salmon stays "tender and flaky".

Whilst the fish is marinating, lightly grease a baking tray and warm it in the oven. By adding a tablespoon of oil to the baking tray and allowing it to heat in the oven for five minutes before introducing the salmon, you can achieve "crunchy, crispy skin".

Then, position the fish (skin-side down) onto the hot, oiled baking tray and bake it for 12 to 13 minutes. To give it a posher crust on top, switch your oven to the grill setting during the final three minutes.
