Prashant Kishor's Jansuraj Party has released the second list of 66 candidates for Bihar Elections 2025. There are 20 reserved and 46 general seats. The party has claimed to achieve social balance in proportion to the population.

Prashant Kishor's party Jansuraj released its second list on Monday for Bihar Assembly elections 2025. The names of candidates for 66 assembly seats have been declared in this list. These include 20 reserved seats (19 Scheduled Caste and 1 Scheduled Tribe) and 46 general seats. The party has claimed that in this list every section of the society has been given proper representation in proportion to their population.

perfect balance on social equation

In the new list of Jansuraj, special attention has been paid to caste and social balance. According to the details released by the party, 14 candidates from Extremely Backward Class (10 Hindu, 4 Muslim), 10 candidates from Other Backward Class, 11 candidates from General Category, 14 candidates from minority community, and 20 candidates from Scheduled Caste and Tribe category have been included.

Prashant Kishore said that participation in ticket distribution in proportion to the population is the main principle of the party. He clarified that Jansuraj is not just a political organization but is working towards creating a “new definition of social justice”.

Releasing the list, Prashant Kishore said that the party has risen above caste equations and given priority to those who are working honestly in the society. He said, "We want to bring into politics those people who are serving the public by standing on the real ground of the society. This list of Jansuraj is not just of candidates, but a reflection of a thought and vision."

He told that the party has given ticket from Bhagalpur seat to advocate Abhay Kant Jha, who provided free legal help to the Muslim families victimized in the Bhagalpur riots. Prashant Kishore said that 75-year-old Abhaykant Jha's entry into politics is the beginning of a new era of morality and public service.
