The Department of Legal Affairs hosted the event, attended by Union Law Secretary Dr. Anju Rathi Rana and senior officials from various ministries. Meghwal praised the initiative as a major step in streamlining legal operations and reducing litigation burden.
The dashboard enables ministries to monitor upcoming hearings and coordinate efficiently. With over 7,23,000 live cases from 53 ministries and departments, the LIMBS portal is updated regularly by 13,175 ministry users and 18,458 advocates.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized reducing litigation and improving governance. LIMBS supports this vision by offering data-driven insights and proactive legal tracking.
The launch marks a milestone in India’s digital governance journey. By integrating technology into legal case management, the government reinforces its commitment to transparency and operational efficiency.
