Patna: Amidst the excitement of the Bihar Assembly elections, internal strife within the ruling Janata Dal United (JDU) over ticket distribution has come to the fore. On Monday, Gopalpur MLA Narendra Kumar Neeraj, also known as Gopal Mandal, surprised everyone by staging a protest outside the CM House. He insisted on meeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar from 8:30 am and stated clearly that he would not leave until he was granted an election ticket.

Gopal Mandal said the media, ‘I have come to meet the Chief Minister. I have been waiting since morning. I will definitely get a ticket. I will not leave here without getting a ticket.’

Describing himself as a dedicated and strong leader of the party, he said that he considers Nitish Kumar his leader and is confident that the Chief Minister will do justice to him.
