The Central Government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to strengthen the farmers and meet the needs of farming. Under this scheme, farmers get Rs 6,000 annually in three equal installments. Till now, farmers have received 20 installments and all eyes are on the 21st installment. People are restless as to when this money will arrive and whether they are entitled to it or not. Here we are telling you the possible date of the 21st installment and the eligibility conditions, so that you can be prepared.
When will the 21st installment reach the account?
The government sends installments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi at an interval of every four months. The last i.e. 20th installment was transferred to the farmers’ accounts in August. In such a situation, the 21st installment may come by the last week of November or the beginning of December. Farmer brothers are hopeful that the government will soon make an official announcement, so that this amount can be logged in their bank accounts.
However, till now no official update has come from the government on the 21st installment. Earlier it was speculated that this installment might be released around Diwali, but Diwali is now around the corner, so there seems to be little chance of it being released during that time.
Are you entitled to the scheme? check like this
The benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is available only to those farmers who fulfill all the conditions. For example, you should have cultivable land and be actively doing farming. If you are in a government job, pay income tax or have property in your name in the city, then you will be out of this scheme. Apart from this, only one member in a joint family gets this benefit.
Visit PM Kisan Portal or mobile app to check your eligibility and status. Check by verifying with Aadhar card or bank details. If you are in the beneficiary list, the next installment will automatically come to your account.
