CTET Notification Soon: There is good news for candidates preparing for the CTET. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon release the CTET notification for the December 2025 session. This notification will make the path to becoming a teacher easier, especially for those who wish to teach classes 1 to 8 in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other government schools. After the notification is released, the application process will begin on the CBSE's official website, ctet.nic.in.

The CTET December 2025 exam will be conducted offline, i.e., in pen and paper-based mode. This exam is a necessary qualifying step for candidates. Those who pass the exam can apply for teaching positions in central government schools.

Expected Notification

According to various media reports, the CTET December 2025 notification is expected to be released in the last week of October or early November. However, no official announcement has been made by the CBSE yet. The CTET exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It tests candidates' academics, educational principles, and subject expertise.

Who can apply?

Paper I – This exam is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5. A two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) is required.

Paper II – This exam is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. A B.Ed. A degree is required.

How to Apply?

  • First, visit the official website, ctet.nic.in.
  • Click on the December 2025 registration link on the homepage.
  • Register by filling in your personal and educational information.
  • Enter all required details correctly in the application form.
  • Upload the relevant documents.
  • Pay the application fee and submit the form.
  • After submitting the form, take a printout of it.
