New Ration Card:In today’s era, if there is any important document which is needed by every household, it is Ration Card. It not only provides cheap food grains, but also provides benefits of various government schemes to poor families.
The good news is that if your ration card has not been made yet, then do not delay, apply immediately. Big relief to poor and needy families of Madhya Pradesh! The state government has restarted the process of making a new ration card.
According to reports, the Food and Civil Supplies Department has started the work of issuing new ration cards for eligible families. The entire process will now be completely online, that is, you will be able to apply easily sitting at home.
If you had earlier applied for adding your name to the Ration Card but your name did not appear in the list, then do not worry. The department is adding the names of all those applicants whose verification has been completed to the eligibility list. This step will benefit lakhs of families.
New ration quota doors open in the state
Earlier, there was a delay in adding new names because the distribution of grains according to the quota fixed for the state was already decided. But now the situation has changed. According to the Food Department, Madhya Pradesh has received ration quota for 5.46 crore people from the Central Government. About 2.91 lakh metric tonnes of grains are distributed every month.
After the recent survey and eligibility check, space has been prepared for new beneficiaries. Its direct benefit is that the families who were till now outside the ration scheme will now be included in it. There will be an opportunity to avail the benefit of cheap government grains, which will also reduce household expenses.
How to apply online for Ration Card?
State Secretary Kaushal Bhurji has clearly said that the application for making a new ration card will be completely online. People living below the poverty line can fill the form by visiting any Lok Seva Kendra. You just have to take the necessary documents along and complete the application process. After verification, new ration cards will be issued to the eligible families. With this, they will be able to directly avail the benefits of the government grain scheme, without any hassle.
Keep these documents ready for ration eligibility slip
The government has made the e-KYC process mandatory in the application for a new ration card. This will make it easier to identify eligible and non-eligible people. Those who have completed e-KYC are getting ration eligibility slips. These documents will be required at the time of application:
- Aadhar Card (of all family members)
- Residence certificate (electricity bill, water bill or rent certificate)
- income certificate
- passport size photo
- Mobile Number (for OTP verification)
Keep in mind, it is necessary to upload these papers for verification or submit them at the Public Service Center. Only then your application will be considered complete and you will be able to get the ration card.
