Cesc Fabregas praised Arsene Wenger and clashed with the Juventus coach after his spine-tingling victory speech following his Como’s historic win over the Turin giants. The video of the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder congratulating his players in English - and swearing - has gone viral.
“Only one word. I am so ******* proud of you,” Fabregas said.
But the Spaniard, 38, had lots more to say after Como beat Juventus for the first time since 1952 to climb above them in Serie A. In the crowd at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia along with Fabregas - who was serving a touchline ban - were Thierry Henry and ex-Gunners boss Wenger.

“Yes I got him the tickets,” said the World Cup winner. “Four weeks ago, he called me. He had the chance to come.
"He brought me to Arsenal. He didn’t see me on the bench but before the match, we talked for an hour. It was a pleasure and an honour. I know what he did for me at 16 - he believed in me. I always carry this motivation with me and I try to do the same with my young players.”
But in his post-match press conference he was less complimentary about Juve boss Igor Tudor who had branded Como a “fake minnow club” in the buildup to the game.
Como 1907 went bust in 2016 were bought by Indonesian billionaires the Hartono brothers in 2019 when they were in Serie D. After Dennis Wise served as chief executive, they returned to Serie A for the first time in 21 years last season - and along with Juve have been the top two spenders in the last three transfers window.
They invested €100m in the summer transfer market, including buying Maximo Perrone from Manchester City and Nicolas Kuhn from Celtic. Como did not need the money Tottenham offered for Argentine playmaker Nico Paz in the summer.
Tudor, who is under pressure after six games without a win before facing Real Madrid, said: "Did Como invest like us? I don't care much about transfer spending.
"Como is a small, fake team, they've invested a lot, and the coach has chosen all the players, which is a good thing. Juventus must always win, and that's fair enough, and when they don't, many people are always wrong. Anyone who is intellectually honest understands this."
Fabregas, who is also a shareholder at Como, responded after the 2-0 win: "Tudor said I signed the players I wanted, but perhaps they didn't explain things well to him.
“He called me 'the Como coach,' but I, with respect, call him Mister Tudor. He has to always win with Juventus, not us; we have a different job."

Croat Tudor responded: “Fabregas can say whatever he wants."
The Spaniard’s post-match speech, posted on social media by the club, was more inspiring.
“Only one word, only one word. I am so ******* proud of you. From there (he points to the stands) is very easy. From you did was very difficult. We run, one minute, 20 minutes, 10 minutes. I don’t care.
"You need the mentality to win in this football club, in this team. Thank you so much. Let’s keep going.”
