SSC CHSL Exam Slot Selection 2025: You can now choose your own exam date for the SSC CHSL exam. Yes, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has allowed candidates to choose their own slots for the CHSL exam. The SSC has also opened the slot booking link on its official website, ssc.gov.in, with a window from October 22nd to October 28th. CHSL Slot Booking 2025: How to do it?
SSC CHSL self-slot booking has begun. So, select your preferred exam date and city in advance before someone else books it. Here's a complete 6-step process.

First, visit the SSC portal, ssc.gov.in. Click on the Login or Register link and log in with your registration number and password.

Now go to the "My Applications" section. You will see all the forms you have applied for.
Click on "Select City Exam Date Shift" under "Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination."
You will be provided with some instructions. After reading them, select your preferred date, city, and shift.
You will see three exam cities, each containing slots. If you see "Slots Not Available," you will be given the option to select an alternate city.
You will then receive an OTP on your phone. Enter it, validate it, and submit the final form.

The CHSL government job exam was originally scheduled to be held from September 8th to 18th, but it was postponed. The SSC has now announced new exam dates. The SSC CHSL exam will begin on November 12th, 2025.

According to the new SSC notice, candidate exam city information will be released on November 3rd, 2025. This will allow you to check whether you have received your chosen slot. Admit cards will then be issued 3-4 days before the exam. Candidates can check them using their registration number and password.
