The market capitalisation (mcap) of Reliance Industries jumped to Rs 1964170.74 crore adding Rs 46687.03 crore while the mcap of TCS surged by Rs 36126.6 crore to Rs 1108021.21 crore. The market valuation of Infosys climbed by Rs 34938.51 crore to Rs 633712.38 crore State Bank of India added Rs 13892.07 crore to reach Rs 834817.05 crore while Bajaj Finance surged by Rs 11947.17 crore to Rs 677846.36 crore. The valuation of Sunil Mittals Bharti Airtel edged higher by Rs 9779.11 crore to Rs 1157014.19 crore while that of LIC rose Rs 2340.25 crore taking its market valuation to Rs 562513.67 crore the data showed. Which firm saw mcap erosion? Meanwhile HDFC Bank ICICI Bank and Hindustan Unilever emerged as laggards among the top-10 pack witnessing an erosion of their market valuations. The mcap of ICICI Bank eroded by Rs 43744.59 crore to Rs 982746.76 crore while the valuation of Hindustan Unilever dived by Rs 20523.68 crore to Rs 591486.10 crore and that of HDFC Bank declined by Rs 11983.68 crore to Rs 1528227.10 crore. Reliance remains Indias most valued firm According to market data seven of Indias top-10 firms-- Reliance Industries Bharti Airtel Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) State Bank of India Bajaj Finance Infosys and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) -- emerged as gainers while HDFC Bank ICICI Bank and Hindustan Unilever saw their valuations erode during in the last trade week.
