Jaipur: The case of a senior officer's wife taking Rs 37.54 lakh as 'salary' in two years without coming to work is gaining momentum. This incident is from Rajasthan. The officer's wife collected this huge amount by posing as a fake employee in two private companies in exchange for the government tender. This fraud was revealed through a petition filed in the Rajasthan High Court. Pradyumna Dixit, joint director of the information technology wing of the government department Rajcomp Info Services, took this illegal money in the name of his wife Poonam Dixit. Poonam Dixit was fraudulently employed in private companies, Orionpro Solutions and Trigen Software Limited, which had received government tenders.

In exchange for passing the tender, Pradyuman Dixit had asked these companies to employ his wife and pay her salary every month. Following a Rajasthan High Court order on September 6 last year, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) started a preliminary investigation on July 3 this year.

From January 2019 to September 2020, the companies OrionPro Solutions and Trigen Software Limited transferred money to five personal bank accounts of Pradyuman Dixit's wife Poonam Dixit. The total amount given in the name of 'Salary' is Rs 37,54,405. During this entire time, Poonam Dixit did not go to the offices of these two companies even once.
Poonam Dixit's fake attendance report was approved by her husband Pradyuman Dixit. Poonam Dixit was taking salary from two companies at the same time. While working in a fake job at Orionpro Solutions, he received money from Trigen Software Limited in the name of 'freelancing'. During this period, both the companies also received government tenders.
