If you see a gap between the two doors after closing the refrigerator, it means that the gasket of your refrigerator is bad. If you feel cold air coming out from the side of the refrigerator door, it means that the refrigerator gasket is loose. To check this, you can place a piece of paper between the refrigerator and its door. If the piece comes off easily, it means the gasket is weak. Similarly, if your refrigerator does not freeze ice or starts leaking water from the sides, it also means that the refrigerator gasket is bad.

If your refrigerator’s gasket or rubber isn’t torn, just weakened, it can be easily fixed. For this, clean the rubber with warm water. This will soften the rubber and return to its original shape. If you don’t want to use hot water, you can also lightly heat the rubber with a hair dryer. Also, make sure that the magnets in the gasket are in straight shape. So that the door can close properly. This will cause your refrigerator’s gasket to return to its original shape, and because it has softened, it will also be able to lock properly.

In such a situation, keep cleaning the rubber of the refrigerator door from time to time and use lukewarm water to clean it.
