WhatsApp is the world's most popular chat app. Its "Delete for Everyone" feature allows people to delete messages they've accidentally sent. Many times, people send and then delete messages, leaving the receiver anxious to find out what was written in the message. WhatsApp doesn't officially offer a feature to view deleted messages, but some clever tricks and tools can make this task easier. Let's learn how to read deleted messages on WhatsApp.
Notification History Can Reveal the Secret
If you're an Android user, your phone has a "Notification History" feature that saves incoming notifications. If this feature is already enabled on your phone, you can view a deleted message from there.
Follow these steps:
Go to your phone's Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings > Notification history.
If this feature isn't on, enable it first.
Now, whenever you receive a message and even if the sender deletes it, you can view it in your notification history. Keep in mind that this method only works if you've already turned on notification history in your settings.
