Pakistani celebrity and host Mathira, known for her bold and unapologetic personality, recently shared her experience of interviewing the controversial Indian star Rakhi Sawant. Known for her candid opinions on womanhood, spirituality, and parenting, Mathira has never shied away from speaking her mind. However, her interview with Rakhi Sawant proved to be a challenging one.
Mathira, who has been a public figure since her teenage years, revealed that interviewing Rakhi Sawant was far from smooth sailing. The interaction came into the spotlight when Rakhi made headlines by announcing that Pakistani actor Dodi Khan had proposed to her, and she expressed her desire to marry him. She also stated that she wanted to become Pakistan’s “daughter-in-law” after visiting the country.
However, Mathira’s perspective on Rakhi Sawant was less than flattering. During the interview, Mathira shared that Rakhi’s behavior was less than cooperative, as she continuously interrupted Mathira and didn’t allow her to ask questions. “She thrives on badtameezi (misbehavior),” Mathira said. According to the host, Rakhi seemed more focused on voicing her own opinions than engaging in a balanced conversation.
Mathira was firm in maintaining control of the interview, ensuring that Rakhi’s signature style of cutting people off and dominating the discussion didn’t take over. Despite the challenges, Mathira made sure to steer the conversation in a direction where Rakhi’s disruptive behavior didn’t overshadow the interview’s purpose.
Mathira’s candid revelation sheds light on the complexities of dealing with high-profile personalities like Rakhi Sawant, known for her dramatic public persona. The experience, though difficult, has not dampened Mathira’s determination to continue interviewing diverse personalities, as she remains committed to giving her audience honest and unfiltered conversations.
