                            Importance and health benefits of papad
Papad is an integral part of Indian cuisine. Be it home food or a dhaba or hotel, papad is served with food everywhere. These are made from different types of pulses, in which asafoetida and black pepper are also used. Generally, papads are prepared from moong and urad dal.
Apart from this, papads are also made by mixing red chilli, spinach and fenugreek. They are crunchy and extremely tasty, so they must be eaten with meals.
1. Papad strengthens the digestive system. Eating papad immediately after meals improves the digestion process and the food gets easily digested.
2. When the taste gets spoiled due to fever, then consumption of papad is very beneficial.
3. Eating papad regularly provides relief from stomach problems.
