Iron deficiency and its effects
Vitamins, calcium and iron, all these are essential nutrients for our body. Their deficiency can cause many changes in the body. In particular, iron deficiency can cause problems like fatigue, weakness, headache and difficulty breathing. This is called anemia.

Iron helps in the formation of red blood cells in our body and it works to deliver oxygen to the entire body. Therefore, iron is an important mineral, the deficiency of which can be compensated even without medicines. We should include iron-rich foods in our diet.
iron rich foods
spinach
Spinach comes first among iron-rich foods. This leafy vegetable is an excellent source of iron. 100 grams of spinach contains 2.7 mg iron.
Beetroot
Beetroot also helps in increasing blood volume. It also provides iron as well as folic acid and fiber. It can be included in salads, juices, raita and parathas.
Soybean
Soybean is rich in protein and fiber and contains 15.7 mg of iron in 100 grams. It can be eaten in the form of tofu, boiled soybean or soy milk.
jaggery and sesame seeds
Jaggery and sesame laddus are considered a traditional source of iron. Sesame seeds contain iron, calcium and magnesium, which help in removing toxins from the body.
Pomegranate
Pomegranate is also helpful in overcoming iron deficiency. It provides not only iron, but also vitamins A, C and E as well as fiber.
Dates
Dates are an excellent source of iron and can help reduce anemia. It helps in the formation of red blood cells and relieves fatigue.
