IRCTC has announced recruitment for 64 Hospitality Monitor positions, for which selection will be made through direct walk-in interviews. Candidates can appear for the interviews between November 8 and 18, 2025.
IRCTC has initiated the recruitment process for a total of 64 Hospitality Monitor positions. Notably, there will be no written examination for these positions; instead, candidates will be selected based on walk-in interviews. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website, irctc.com, and attend interviews on the scheduled dates.
Only those candidates who have completed a course related to hospitality or hotel management, such as a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, a B.Sc. in Hotel Management and Catering Science, an MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management, or a BBA or MBA in Culinary Arts, are eligible to apply for these positions. Additionally, at least two years of experience in this field is required. Regarding age, the maximum age limit for general category candidates is 28 years. For OBC candidates, the upper age limit is 31 years, for SC/ST candidates it is 33 years, and for candidates with disabilities it is 38 years. Age will be calculated as of October 1, 2025.
The selection process is also very simple. Candidates will participate in a walk-in interview only. Documents will be verified during the interview and a medical fitness test will be conducted. After this, eligible candidates will be appointed. This means there is no written exam or any lengthy process; the job is awarded solely on the basis of qualifications, experience, and interview.
Salary:
Upon selection, candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000. They will also benefit from other perks provided by IRCTC. This salary is quite attractive for young people seeking a stable and respectable career in the hospitality sector.
Interviews will be held here
Interviews will be conducted in various cities across the country. Candidates can attend interviews in their nearest city. Interviews will begin on November 8, 2025, in Trivandrum. Interviews will then be held in Bengaluru on November 12, Chennai on November 15, and Thuvakudi, Tamil Nadu, on November 18. Candidates must bring all required documents, including educational certificates, identity cards, passport-size photographs, and experience certificates, with them on the day of the interview.
