While caring for the face, most of the people ignore the neck, whereas the skin of the neck starts loosening first. However, the good thing is that you do not need to spend hours sweating in the gym. Just 5 minutes of easy neck exercises can keep your neck skin tight and reduce lines.

Why is neck exercise important?

The skin of the neck is very thin and delicate and the muscles in this part become weak quickly. When the muscles become weak, the skin also starts becoming loose. Moreover, nowadays we keep our heads down while looking at phones or laptops for hours, which is called ‘tech neck’. This also creates deep lines around the neck. 5 minutes of exercise daily strengthens these muscles, increases blood circulation and tightens the skin.

Do each exercise 10 steps

‘Sky Kiss’

, Sit or stand straight.

, Slowly tilt your head back and look at the ceiling or sky.

, Now, purse your lips as if you are trying to kiss the sky. You will feel a stretch in the front of your neck and near your throat.

, Hold this position for 5 seconds and then slowly return to normal.

‘Side Stretch’

, Sit straight and leave your shoulders loose.

, Slowly tilt your head to the right, as if you want to touch your ear with your right shoulder (do not lift the shoulder).

, When you feel a good stretch on the left side of the neck, hold for 5 seconds.

, Now, repeat the same process on the left side.

‘pull the jaw’

, Sit straight and look ahead.

, Slowly push your lower jaw forward, so that you feel a deep stretch under your chin and in the front of your neck.

, Hold for 5 seconds and then relax.

, This small routine can do wonders in reducing the lines on your neck. Remember, applying a good moisturizing cream is as important as exercising.
