 
                            IPL 2026 : Now there is a big update about former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. He is now likely to be seen playing a new role in the world of cricket. Yuvraj Singh, who was awarded the Man of the Series in the 2011 World Cup, is reportedly considering becoming the head coach of Lucknow Super Giants in the 2026 IPL season. According to a report, LSG franchise owner Sanjeev Goenka is looking for an Indian coach and Yuvraj’s name is said to be at the top of the list.
LSG looking for Indian coach
Lucknow Super Giants is a new franchise joining IPL 2022. The team is still in search of their first IPL title. The current head coach of the team is Australia’s Justin Langer, who led the team last season. However, according to recent reports, the franchise is now looking to prioritize Indian experience and local understanding of cricket in coaching. In such a scenario, the emergence of Yuvraj Singh’s name is a reflection of the team’s future strategy. If the deal is finalised, it will mark the start of a new innings in Yuvraj’s career.
Yuvrajla Singh is an experienced player
Yuvraj Singh has yet to coach any team. However, considering his experience in cricket, Tow is unmatched. He has coached many young players including Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Prabhasimran Singh and Priyansh Arya. Under the guidance of Yuvraj Singh, these players have shown exceptional performances both domestically and internationally. His coaching style exudes a blend of confidence, aggression and passion for the game.
This is not the first time that Yuvraj Singh has been roped in as the coach of an IPL team, earlier also there were reports that Gujarat Titans were looking at him as an alternative to Ashish Nehra, along with Delhi Capitals also discussing Yuvraj’s name as an alternative to Ricky Ponting. Yuvraj Singh’s performance in IPL
Yuvraj Singh’s IPL career has also been brilliant. He has played for six different franchises namely Punjab Kings, Pune Warriors, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. He has scored 2,750 runs in 132 IPL matches. In this he has taken 36 wickets.
