Often youth are unable to muster the courage to leave their jobs and realize their dreams, but some people become such inspirations that they prove to be examples for the society. Amit Verma, a 28-year-old engineer, is one of them. Despite having a comfortable job, he followed his passion for food and healthy eating and started a food startup.
Family’s initial objection
Amit says, “My parents were not ready initially. They said that a job is a safe option and the risk in a startup is very high. But I chose my dreams and passion for the food industry.” After this decision, Amit resigned from his job in 2022 and laid the foundation of a food startup.
Startup idea and objective
Amit’s startup especially focuses on healthy and fresh food products. Their products include organic snacks, nutritious juices and ready-made healthy meal packs. His aim was to enable people to adopt healthy eating habits in an easy and accessible manner.
step into the market
Initially this startup was present only on online platforms, but after gaining rapid popularity, its products are now available in cafes and retail stores in many big cities. Customers value both health and taste, and that is why the startup built brand value in a short period of time.

Amit says that there were many challenges in the initial months. Convincing investors, raising resources for production and marketing was not easy. But he gave recognition to the brand through social media and digital marketing. Today his startup is doing a monthly turnover of Rs 50 lakh and plans to increase it to Rs 5 crore in the next two years.
Family acceptance and inspiration
Today Amit’s parents are also happy with his efforts. He said, “We saw that the son is working hard in the right direction and is achieving success. We are proud.” Amit’s story is an inspiration for young entrepreneurs who want to turn their passion into a career.
future plans
Amit is now planning to expand his startup across the country. Their goal is to make healthy food easy and affordable in every city. Apart from this, they are also working on new products which are beneficial for both environment and health.
