Let’s talk kinks and stardust, folks.

A new study led by Chyrpea female-led and femdom dating app, has uncovered our bed covers, revealing the relationship between astrology and turn-ons.

Using data from nearly one million users, the study shows how astrology and sexuality are inextricably linked in kink.

To no one’s surprise, Capricorn is the least kinky zodiac sign, Sag folk love to get pegged and Scorpios are really into dominance and worship.

The firstborn and first fire sign in the zodiac, Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of drive and desire. And when it comes to kink, it shows.

“In bed, Aries is really into crossdressing, puppy play, sensory play, worship, and dominance/submission dynamics. For all of these categories of kink, Aries is the zodiac sign that indulges in them most frequently,” said study authors.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, for a sign associated with an ethos of ‘me, mine and more,’ gifting is wildly unpopular amongst the ram contingent.

A fixed earth sign ruled by the planet of love, Taurus individuals are deeply invested in the tactile, one-on-one relationships and the pursuit of pleasure.

In kind, in kink, and according to study authors, “Bondage and edging are their strongest kinks. Edging is 7.5% more common among Taurus than the other kinks. Conforming to the general perception of a Taurus, they don’t enjoy obedience or puppy play as much as other signs.”

Taurus folks are notorious for being possessive about people and things, so it makes sense that they would want to render their partners unable to leave them. In a similar vein, or arm shackle, bulls represent the smallest share of people interested in non-monogamous relationships.

Ruled by Mercury, Gemini is the sign of the liminal, the curious, the mutable and the experimental.

“In bed, Geminis are curious about impact play and femboy, and less interested in service and worship,” said study authors.

They note that less than 20% of Geminis reported dominance/submission as a kink.

“If you think about Cancer, you might think about their nurturing, sensitive and loyal side,” said the study authors. “You can now add another characteristic: really kinky.”

According to this latest round of research, Cancer folks reported the highest number of kinks per user.

“They are also 5% more likely to report a foot fetish than average.”

Cancer is the sign of caretaking and care as control, so it tracks that the crab contingent would enjoy service-oriented kinks more than most.

A Leo will be the first to tell you that their love language is “all of them.”

Leos represent the lion’s share of app users, and while they’re not into edging, 10% go all in on gift-giving and chastity.

Virgo is the most common zodiac sign, and in accordance, their kink profile is relatively average.

“Virgos show less extreme preference differences than other zodiac signs, though they are about 11% less into foot fetishism.”

Ironically, for a sign represented by the celestial virgin, chastity ain’t their bag either.

Symbolized by the scales and balances of justice, when it comes to kink, Libras like to tip into the extremes of dominance and submission.

“Gifting, impact play and service are all above average as well,” said the study authors.

One kink Libras aren’t on board with? Puppy play.

“Scorpios are considered passionate, loyal and determined people,” noted study authors,

“In terms of kink, they are the obedient/genuflecting kind. Obedience and worship kinks are most popular among Scorpios. Not as enjoyable to them is the pegging and sensory.”

Interestingly, for a sign synonymous with obsession and possession, Scorpios strongly lean towards
non-monogamous relationships.

Freedom-loving and optimistic AF, Sagittarius is the sign most inclined to have a good time, all of the time.

“Nearly 17% of Sagittariuses enjoy pegging. Meanwhile, their interest in obedience, worship, and sensory is well above the global average.”

According to the Chyrpe analysis, Capricorn is the least kinky zodiac sign.

The most monogamous zodiac sign, seagoats have little regard for bondage but do display an above-average interest in edging.

Innovative, intellectual and independent, across the board, Aquarius folks have little interest in dominance and submission.

“Conversely, Aquarius is the zodiac sign with the highest share of foot fetishes, exceeding the average by more than 9%.”

In terms of relationship dynamics, water bearers are most likely to define their preference as “figuring it out,” suggesting an openness to both monogamous and non-monogamous relationships.

Ruled by dreamy Neptune, Pisces people are imaginative and highly suggestible.

More into bondage than worship or crossdressing, they prefer sexual proclivities that test their limits and offer a sure shot at spiritual transcendence through bodily experience.
