WBSSC Recruitment 2025: The West Bengal School Service Commission has announced recruitment for thousands of positions. Candidates can apply by following the steps below.
The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has brought a great opportunity for young people. The WBSSC has announced a total of 8,477 vacancies for Group C and Group D positions. The most important thing is that selection for these positions will be without any interview. This means that candidates can secure employment based solely on a written examination and document verification.
How many vacancies are available?
The WBSSC has announced recruitment for a total of 8,477 positions. These include 2,989 Group C positions and 5,488 Group D positions. These positions are for non-teaching staff, meaning candidates will be appointed to positions such as clerks, lab assistants, multi-tasking staff, and other administrative positions.
How much will the salary be?
Candidates selected for these positions will receive a monthly salary of ₹26,605 to ₹29,905. They will also receive government benefits such as DA (Dearness Allowance), HRA (House Rent Allowance), and medical allowance. The biggest advantage of government jobs is that they offer stability, security, and a guaranteed future.
What are the required qualifications?
For Group C positions, candidates must be 12th-grade pass or graduates. For Group D positions, candidates must have completed at least 8th or 10th grade. No prior experience is required for these positions, meaning freshers can also apply.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of December 3, 2025. SC/ST candidates will receive a 5-year age relaxation based on reservation requirements. OBC candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation.
