New Delhi: Star India opener Abhishek Sharma and mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy continue to rule the ICC T20I rankings holding their places at the top in batting and bowling list respectively. The latest rankings update from the ICC also delivered a boost for multiple Pakistan player following their 2-1 series victory against South Africa at home helping them climb the list. Abhishek retains the top spot in World T20I batting with 925 rating points maintaining his edge over Englands Phil Salt and Indias Tilak Varma. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav is the only other Indian featuring in the top 10 list holding the eighth position. In the bowling charts Varun Chakravarthy has also kept his No.1 rank intact with West Indies Akeal Hosein and Afghanistans Rashid Khan at the second and third position resptively. Josh Hazlewood climbs two places enters top 10 There were some changes just below the top three. Australias Adam Zampa dropped from fourth to seventh which allowed Sri Lankas Wanindu Hasaranga Englands Adil Rashid and Nuwan Thushara to rise one position each. Australian speedster Josh Hazlewood also improved his ranking climbing two places to break into the top 10 following an impressive series against India. Varun Chakravarthy remains the only Indian among the top 10 bowlers while Hardik Pandya is the only India in the top 10 all-rounders positioned at No. 4. Pakistans Saim Ayub tops the all-rounders list with Zimbabwes Sikandar Raza and West Indies Roston Chase right behind him. Babar Azam climbs nine places in ICC T20I ranking Pakistans strong performances have translated into ranking gains as star player Babar Azam has jumped nine places to joint 30th Saim Ayub has advanced 10 spots to 39th and Salman Agha has moved up to 54th after their impactful showings against South Africa. Pakistan have emerged victorious in four of their five bilateral T20I series this year gaining valuable momentum ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup. On the other hand West Indies skipper Shai Hope climbed to 12th Bangladeshs Tanzid Hasan jumped 20 places to 17th and Afghanistan duo Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran moved up to 15th and 20th respectively capping a busy week in the T20I rankings.
