Red carrot kheer will taste even tastier than rabri

Carrot Kheer: If you like sweets in food and sometimes you have a sudden craving for sweets, then you can make Carrot Kheer and eat it. These days red carrots are available in the market. You must have eaten carrot halwa many times but definitely try carrot kheer once. Carrot kheer will taste even tastier than rabri. The special thing is that it is also very easy to make. Carrots are beneficial not only for taste but also for health. Carrots contain Vitamin A and fiber, so this kheer will give you benefits along with taste. Carrot Kheer Recipe
Step 1- First of all take red colored fresh carrots and wash them thoroughly with water. Peel the carrots lightly and then grate them. Now add 1 spoon of desi ghee in a pan and then add grated carrots in it. After stirring for a while, cover the carrots with a plate and let them cook on medium flame until they become soft. Keep stirring the carrots in between.

Second step- After cooking the carrots for about 10 minutes, add milk to it. To make kheer, use full cream milk i.e. condensed milk. Now let the carrots and milk cook and in the meantime grind 2 cardamoms after removing their peel. If you want, cut cashews and almonds into small pieces to add to the kheer. Keep stirring the kheer in between. Till a nice thick kheer is ready.

Third step- To make the kheer thick, you can also add milkmaid in it. If you are making kheer by adding milkmaid then there is no need to cook the milk for too long. When the kheer becomes thick, add sugar as per your requirement. Keep in mind that after adding sugar, keep stirring and after adding sugar, if the kheer starts releasing water, then you will have to cook it continuously. When the kheer becomes as thick as you like, add ground cardamom and dry fruits to it.

Carrot kheer is ready, eat it hot as is or keep it in the fridge and cool it. You will get a much better taste in carrot kheer than in rabri. Children and adults alike will like Carrot Kheer.
