IND vs PAK, Hong Kong Sixes 2025: India beat Pakistan by 2 runs

India defeated Pakistan by 2 runs after the rain stopped the match in the Hong Kong Sixes 2025. Pakistan were 41/1 in three overs and required 46 runs in the remaining 18 deliveries to beat India.

However, India were two runs ahead on the basis of duckworth & Lewis system and the Men in Blue were declared the winners.

Khawaja Nafay was unbeaten on 18 runs off 9 balls, with the help of two sixes and 1 four. Maaz Sadaqat managed 7 runs off 3 deliveries before Stuart Binny dismissed him.

Abdul Samad accumulated 16 not out, packed with 2 fours 1 six. Earlier, the Men in Blue were restricted to 86/4 in the allotted 6 overs. Robin Uthappa (28), Bharat Chipli (24) and Dinesh Karthik (17*) made useful contributions.

Muhammad Shahzad (2 wickets) and Abdul Samad (1 wicket) bowled well for Pakistan. India have amassed 2 points from 1 match and are leading Group C. Pakistan are in second place with 2 points from 2 games. Kuwait, who lost to the Men in Green in their opening contest, are third.
