On November 13, the Sanatan Hindu Unity March, led by Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, will make its way into the district. The initial stop of the march will be at the Sales Tax complex located at the Kotwan border, where preparations are currently in full swing. The ground at the designated halt for the afternoon on November 13 is being leveled to accommodate the event.
Ankit Mishra, the coordinator overseeing the arrangements, along with council member Lovely Verma, shared that workers are setting up ground ovens at both the Sales Tax complex and the Market Committee area at the Kotwan border. A total of 15 ground ovens are being constructed, in addition to over 50 gas ovens to facilitate cooking. Large pots will be used to prepare lentils and vegetables on these ground ovens.
More than 300 cooks will be preparing meals for the participants of the march, with an equal number of individuals managing other arrangements. Food will be served at over 15 stalls to ensure that all attendees are catered for, with a strong emphasis on maintaining cleanliness. Meals will be served on steel plates, avoiding the use of disposable items.
The first overnight stop for the march participants in Uttar Pradesh will be at the Market Committee area. Mishra indicated that tents will be set up across approximately 12 to 15 acres at the stopover site, where participants will rest. Maharaj Ji will also take rest at this location during the night. All arrangements are expected to be finalized by November 12.
