Fire Breaks Out in CESC Transformer in Kolkata's Chandni Chowk

A fire erupted early Sunday morning in a transformer belonging to the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) located in the Chandni Chowk area of Kolkata, as reported by local officials.
The blaze ignited around 7:45 AM in a 100 kVA transformer. To tackle the fire, four fire engines were dispatched to the scene.
After approximately one hour, firefighters managed to bring the situation under control. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries so far.
The exact cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
