Lucknow, 9 November. The sensational act of Anubhav Mittal, the main accused in the social media fraud case, has come to light from Lucknow jail. He has sent an e-mail from a policeman’s mobile phone about a conspiracy to murder a judge of Allahabad High Court. This audacity of Mittal has created a stir in the police, jail administration and cyber cell.

It is noteworthy that vicious criminal Anubhav Mittal is the main accused in the Rs 3700 crore social media fraud scandal and is in jail. There are already 324 cases registered against him. He was arrested by STF in the year 2017 in a huge online social media fraud case of Rs 3700 crore. His wife Ayushi and father Sunil Mittal are also accused in this scam and are currently in jail.

Policeman’s mobile phone was asked for during the hearing

Investigation has revealed that Anubhav Mittal asked police line constable Ajay Kumar for his mobile phone during his appearance. Mittal made the excuse that he wanted to check the online status of his case. Meanwhile, he created a new e-mail ID in the constable’s phone and set a timer to send the mail for the next morning. The next day at 8.50 am, when the threatening e-mail reached the High Court, there was a stir.

Conspiracy hatched to trap a prisoner in jail

In the e-mail, Anubhav Mittal, calling himself ‘Mahendra Kumar’, has alleged that another accused Anandeshwar Agrahari, who is in jail, is doing wrong things with his mobile and is plotting to murder a judge of Lucknow bench.

It is written in the mail that Anandeshwar’s bail has been rejected twice. Angered by this, he is planning murder. There is a conflict between Anubhav Mittal and Anandeshwar Agrahari over some issue inside the jail. It is in this anger that Mittal has played this trick to trap Anandeshwar. At present, as soon as the threatening mail reaches the High Court, the police administration is in shock and is busy in the investigation.

FIR registered against Mittal and jail constable

Jail outpost incharge Arvind Kumar has lodged an FIR against both Anubhav Mittal and constable Ajay Kumar. The jail administration has also started a separate departmental inquiry into this matter. Investigation revealed that this mail was sent from the phone of constable Ajay Kumar, who admitted that the phone was with Anubhav Mittal for a few minutes during the appearance.
