Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Prem Chopra has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. The 90-year-old actor, known for his iconic villainous roles in Hindi cinema, is reportedly undergoing treatment for age- health issues.
Confirming the news, Chopra’s son-in-law and actor Vikas Bhalla said the hospitalisation was only a precautionary step. “It’s all age- and a regular procedure. There is nothing to worry about,” Bhalla said, adding that the veteran star’s condition is stable.
Family sources said Chopra is expected to be discharged in a couple of days. Doctors at the Bandra-based hospital are keeping him under observation as part of routine medical care.
