Delhi Lal Quila Metro Station Blast: A powerful explosion occurred in an e-rickshaw near the Red Fort in Delhi, causing panic among people. According to initial information, eight people have been killed in the blast, while 12 others have been injured, some of whom are in critical condition. The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Lok Narayan Jaiprakash Hospital. It is being said that the death toll may rise. The blast was of high intensity.
On receiving information, seven fire engines arrived at the scene, and the fire was brought under control. A team from the Delhi Police Special Cell has also joined the investigation. Following the explosion, a high alert has been issued in Delhi. Forensic and technical experts are arriving at the scene to determine the nature of the blast. The blast also knocked out nearby streetlights in Delhi. According to sources, several people have been injured and brought to LNJP Hospital following an explosion near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station.

Following the explosion, a car caught fire, engulfing seven to eight other vehicles. Images of the blast are now going viral on social media. The explosion occurred at Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station.
The glass of nearby parked vehicles shattered. A large crowd was present at the time of the explosion. It is not yet known whether the explosion was caused by the CNG in the car or by some other reason.
