New Delhi: The United States has deported Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, to India.
Anmol, alleged to be the main plotter in the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Baba Siddiqui, is expected to land in New Delhi on Tuesday night.
Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui was informed about Anmol’s deportation via an email by the US government’s Department of Homeland Security.
The correspondence, shared with NDTV, stated: “This email is to inform you ANMOL BISHNOI has been removed from the United States by the federal government. The offender was removed on November 18, 2025.”
Besides the Baba Siddique murder case, Anmol is wanted by India in connection with multiple crimes, including the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022 and firing of gunshots outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai home in April 2024.
Anmol was arrested by American officials in November 2024, apparently for entering the country illegally.
Soon after, India sought his extradition as a Maharashtra court issued a non-bailable warrant and the Interpol issued a Red Corner Notice against Anmol.
The wanted criminal sought asylum in the US but authorities in the Donald Trump administration turned down his request.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) added Anmol to its Most Wanted List last year, with a Rs 10 lakh reward announced for his arrest.
There are 18 cases against Lawrence Bishnoi’s younger brother.
