MP chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurates The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho

The Oberoi Group has launched The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. This historic palace, dating back over 350 years, aims to showcase the region's rich heritage and cultural tapestry. The new property is expected to boost tourism, drawing visitors to Khajuraho's temples and the Panna Tiger Reserve.

The Oberoi Group has announced the launch of The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, which was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Wednesday.

“The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace reflects the rich heritage of Madhya Pradesh while providing world–class hospitality. It is a remarkable addition to the state’s tourism landscape,” said Dr. Mohan Yadav.

Arjun Oberoi, executive chairman of The Oberoi Group said beyond preserving history, the palace invites guests to immerse themselves in the beauty, heritage, and cultural richness of Madhya Pradesh.


Vikram Oberoi, chief executive officer of The Oberoi Group said the inauguration by chief minister Dr Mohan Yadav reinforces The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace as a 'landmark' in restoration with historical significance. "We are confident that The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace will encourage a new set of travellers to visit Khajuraho and experience its world-famous temples, explore nature and wildlife at the Panna Tiger Reserve and embrace the unique cultural tapestry of the region," he said. "Tourism is recognised for its ability to generate employment - we are happy to support this important initiative with the opening of The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace," he added.

Dating back over 350 years, The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace features rooms and suites with private terraces and dining experiences that showcase both local and international cuisines.
