Of the 243 seats, the NDA won 202 seats, while the RJD-Congress grand alliance was reduced to only 35 seats.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, this alliance performed better than expected by winning 234 seats, while the BJP was reduced to 240 seats and the NDA remained in majority with 293 seats.
