Paisalo Digital Ltd a smallcap NBFC with a market cap of Rs 3114.20 crore has given important information to investors in its latest exchange filing today after which the stock of the company has been on the radar. At the time of writing this news the stock was trading at Rs 34.20 down 1.53% or Rs 0.53 on NSE at 12:41 pm while on BSE the stock was trading at Rs 34.23 down 1.47% or Rs 0.51. In its latest exchange filing the company stated that the Operations and Finance Committee of the companys board in its meeting today decided to issue non-convertible debentures (NCDs) through a private placement on the EBP platform. The issue size will be a maximum of 7500 unsecured NCDs with a face value of ₹100000 per debenture raising a total amount of up to ₹75 crore (approximately $1.5 billion). This includes a base issue size of ₹25 crore (approximately $2.5 billion) and a green shoe option of up to ₹50 crore (approximately $50 billion). These debentures will have a tenure of 3 years (36 months) and will be fully redeemed after 36 months from the date of allotment. Investors will receive an interest rate of 8.50% per annum on these NCDs. In case of delay in payment of interest the company will pay an additional 2% per annum. Paisalo Digital is a small-cap NBFC that provides loans and other financial services to small and middle-class individuals in India. Founded in 1992 the company operates primarily in rural and semi-urban areas. Paisalo Digitals mission is to provide access to finance to individuals who find it difficult to obtain loans from traditional banks. The company offers products such as microfinance education loans and business loans. Earlier the company said that it has serviced over 59 lakh customers by initiating transactions worth more than Rs 3400 crore.
